Role Overview
We are seeking a CAE Analyst with hands-on expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The ideal candidate will work on design validation, performance optimization, and simulation-based problem-solving for diverse mechanical and structural systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform linear and nonlinear static, dynamic, thermal, and modal FEA using commercial CAE tools (ANSYS, Code_Aster, Calculix or similar).
- Conduct CFD simulations for internal/external flow, heat transfer, and multiphase systems.
- Prepare pre-processing (meshing, boundary conditions) and post-processing (interpretation, reporting).
- Collaborate with design and project teams to translate physical problems into simulation models.
- Document simulation methodologies, assumptions, and results with clear engineering justification.
- Support validation, optimization, and report generation for client projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in CAE simulation (FEA + CFD).
- Proficiency in tools like ANSYS Mechanical, Fluent, CFX, Calculix, Code_Aster or OpenFOAM.
- Strong understanding of mechanics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics fundamentals.
- Familiarity with relevant design codes/standards (ASME, EN, IS, etc.) is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Exposure
- Fatigue and thermal stress analysis
- CFD for HVAC, process, or turbomachinery applications
- Optimization and design automation
- Experience with scripting (Python / APDL / journal files)
